Accessibility statement

What we have checked, what we have not checked, and how to report a barrier. Voluntary statement, drawn up on 25 September 2026.

Scope and status

This statement covers the showcase website www.otspi.org, the governance portal about.otspi.org (white paper, draft statutes, framework documents) and the white paper PDFs. The web demonstrator (demo.open-eidas.eu) has not been assessed.

To our knowledge, OTSPI, an initiative being formed, does not fall within the scope of a legal obligation to publish an accessibility statement. We publish it because digital trust must be accessible to everyone.

What has been checked

  • Automated Lighthouse tests (accessibility, alongside the other categories): 100 / 100 on the showcase website pages checked on 25 September 2026, and on the portal at its last check.
  • Design: skip link, keyboard navigation, contrast checked automatically in the light and dark themes (simulated), underlined links (never distinguished by colour alone), language of each page declared, no animated or audio content, no third-party service.
  • White paper PDFs: tagged, with language, title and bookmarks, and validated as PDF/UA-1 by the veraPDF checker at each publication (no non-conformity found).
  • Diagrams: the architecture diagrams on the web pages are SVGs with a title and a text description.

Known limits

  • No expert audit and no testing with screen reader users or other assistive technologies. Automated checks only detect part of the barriers.
  • PDFs: PDF/UA-1 validation is structural and automatic; it does not guarantee the relevance of alternative texts or the reading order. Diagrams are images with a description. The HTML page of the white paper remains the accessible reference version.
  • Language: French is the reference. The draft statutes and several portal documents exist only in French.
  • Portal documents: their accessibility relies on the automated checks of the theme and has not been reviewed page by page.

Report a barrier

If you have trouble accessing content, write to contact@otspi.org stating the page concerned, the problem and, if possible, your assistive technology. We do our best to reply and fix it, and to provide the content in another form where needed.

This statement will be updated after any significant change to the sites and after any external audit.
